This little cactus stands at 3 feet 3 inches. It comes in a plastic pot but to the eye it looks like a ceramic pot. It is a little chunky is the best way to say it. I think I will put it into another pot to give it an esthetic balance. The barbs/needles are not hard. No dangers of children or animals getting hurt. I do like the pebbles in the bottom but may add some rocks once I have added it to another pot. Being a faux cactus, it does look pretty good. Does not look or feel "plastic." I am pleased with it..
