The U-shaped mat does not fit properly around the base of the toilet. Both the square mat and the U-shaped mat are rather thin and flimsy. I like the fact that they are easily washable, so I'll keep them since I need something and have nothing else as I look for some that are better. Perhaps I can alter the U-shaped one by cutting and sewing a new edge to make it fit. You can see in the photo how the edges lift up around the base of the toilet. Love this contour mat! It looks great in my bathroom along with the matching runner. The only downside was the packaging. It was put in the bag without a covering.
