I was absolutely amazed to find this privacy rod for a VERY reasonable price. Had thought of having one made locally but for the cost of this we couldn’t justify making our own. It is surrounding a bird cage to eliminate drafts and also retain body heat on chillier nights (a medium sulfur-created Cockatoo doesn’t generate much heat) and getting rings and thermal curtains to complete this project was so simple ince we had the hanging portion and hardware determined. (There is a high-sided inflatable pool under the cage at it’s base to catch wood toy splinters and food crumbs to keep the area neater - covered in white sheets to protect against harmful UV rays.) The instructions have you completely build the top before the bottom, which in this case meant not only was I working around it but it had to stand it on the cam lock connectors- recommend doing the bottom part first..
