The memory foam layer cradles your body to relieve pressure points, while targeted lumbar support keeps your spine in proper alignment. Low motion transfer means movement on one side won't wake a sleeping partner, making shared routines easier. I was reluctant to purchase a mattress online because I've always tested out options in store. The reviews were very helpful but ultimately what convinced me was the double sided use. I do prefer the softer white side of the mattress and can see the benefit of switching to the firmer side after years of use. After a week on the mattress I am SO glad I made the purchase.
