The closet itself is wonderful. It’s so multifunctional and the size is compact. However, if you do not pay for professional assembly, expect to spend at least four hours putting it together with a second person. Also, the offgassing is absolutely terrible. The closet is next to my bed and I woke up extremely stuffed up sneezing constantly And the smell is just awful. I can’t imagine putting my clothes in it yet until the smell goes away. It’s really too bad because the piece itself is great, but the chemicals used in the manufacturing are probably toxic. We’ll see what I may have to return. . Anonymous. Thu Aug 28 2025

Have been looking for a solution for more hanging room in my very small bedroom. I purchased 2 of these wardrobes to flank my full-size bed that sits sideways under a window. The house is very old where they used to have very small closets. I was looking for a "built-in" look and these were the perfect size! I am putting them together by myself (directions say it needs 2 people) but I was able to assemble the 1st one no problem. The wardrobe is very sturdy when assembled. I have the first one all put together and need to put the drawers and doors on the second one. I am very happy with the color! I may replace the gold knobs if I find some more whimsical ones, but this will help eliminate the 2 portable clothes racks that have graced my bedroom since I bought this old house! I won't feel like I am sleeping in a closet. They have totally opened up the space in the room. I will post pictures once all are assembled!. Sue. US. Fri May 22 2026

A full-width hanging area keeps shirts, dresses, jackets, and coats neatly organized, while two interior shelves provide convenient storage for folded clothing, bedding, and accessories. Its tall 31.7"W profile delivers practical everyday storage without taking up the footprint of a larger traditional armoire.

Love the product. Was easy to assemble. Came with all the parts and extra hardware which is always nice. The only negative I would say is the material it’s made from has a very strong odor. We have had it for a couple of weeks now and the cabinet still has a strong odor. The odor is the only reason I’m only giving it four stars instead of five.. Hope. Williamsburg, KY. Wed Sep 09 2026

This wardrobe is a good size and gives lots of storage for a small space. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble, until the doors. They do have soft close which is a great addition. The hanging space is tight, no sweaters or bulky items would fit. The space is only a small amount larger than an adult hanger. Might work better for small kids clothing. The hanging space is enough for a dress or longer coat lengthwise. The hanging space does not allow for clothing to be see, only the piece in front, unless you sort through them. Shoes, purses, or folded clothing can fit in the shelving area. The American Country Vintage Armoire works very well for our guest bedroom. It’s a bit flimsy, but we are bolting it to the wall which (instead of using the anti-tipping straps) which will strengthen it nicely. The doors line up well we added a mirror to the inside doors for our guests. The hardware package had everything we needed for assembly each in its own bag-no missingleft over parts! I really appreciated the round stickers in the same print as the cabinet to hide the screw holes. The drawers aren’t very deeplong but I’m using it for linen storage and the occasional house guests so that’s not problematic for us. Four stars due to the cabinet looking a little like a yellow pine color rather than the light brownish I expected. Rated it four out of five stars based on the color-it’s more of a yellowish pine color than the light brown I thought it would be but it’s not a deal breaker.. Goldie Mom. CA. Mon Sep 28 2026

This wardrobe Armoire’ features plenty of space inside and two deep drawers. It did take several hours to assemble it! So have some patience. The instructions were very hard to follow and written in a different language. The back of the Armoire’ is very flimsy , it needs better support. When all put together it looks very nice. But I don’t think I would order again.. Linda. West Salem, OH. Sat Jan 31 2026

I put this together alone, it took 2.5 hours but the instructions were simple and pretty straightforward I was sent 2 identical parts ( part number 17) on the drawer assembly but I flipped it over and made my own holes to attach the slider, also the legs were difficult as well the thread would not catch on but I got them in there. Overall the stand looks great and I did have to adjust the door length for closure but I am happy with my purchase it fit everything I put in there and really looks good in the room.. Diamond.
