Needless to say we are very pleased with this order. At first we was worried his existing twin size wouldn’t fit underneath but it did!! I would say the twin is around 8in. None of the pieces came broken or missing like past reviews mentioned. My son slept in it before we could put sheets on it he also enjoyed building this simple project with his dad. Behind every sweet dream is a good bet, and if you’re still looking for the right one for your child’s room, this piece is here to help. Awash in a solid tone, this piece is designed to blend in with – or stand out against – your kid’s existing color scheme. After assembly, this product is compatible with any twin or full-size mattress (not included). Attach the included surface mount turbocharger and keep all your electronics charged and ready to go.

This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee. We love this bed! The trundle underneath is super spacious and we are able to open it up for sleepovers with brother. I’d recommend an 8in twin mattress for the trundle. Looks great and was easy enough to put together by myself. Bought for my 9 and 4 year old room so they have more space during the day. Only con so far would be that the wheels aren't on a swivel and my 4yr old keeps pushing the trundle back in crooked. It's light enough my 9yr is can adjust it easily but I think swivel castors would solve the problem.. Lacie. Stanley, VA. Thu Aug 06 2026

Great that wasn’t too hard to assemble. I am a 52 year-old small woman and completed it myself in a few hours. The footboard has a flaw where the seam of the rectangle meets the frame. That’s the only reason I’m giving it a four stars. Otherwise it’s a very cute solid bed.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 27 2025
