I still can’t believe this mattress came in a box. It unfolded and reshaped itself instantly upon being opened. The box is very heavy so be prepared to have someone help you move it. The bed I am using this mattress on does not require a box spring, but when you sit on the edge of the bed the mattress is not firm or sturdy and kind of collapses under you. I’m unsure if it’s a design flaw of the bed or the mattress but it feels a little unsafe, like if I rolled over to the edge in the middle of the night I would surely fall off. I suspect it is due to the lack of firmness. The mattress is advertised as medium firm but I find it very soft, and I prefer firmer mattresses, so I docked a star for the lack of sturdiness at the edge which I think is also related to its lack of firmness. It is not flippable which does not bother me but might be a dealbreaker for others.. Elizabeth. Salem, MA. Tue Sep 01 2026

Our 12/14-inch black hybrid pocket spring mattress combines supportive independent coils and pressure-relief memory foam with medium-firm comfort. Vacuum-compressed for easy delivery, it comes in Twin, Full, Queen, King sizes and fits all bed frames for restful deep sleep every night.

The mattress arrived quickly rolled into a large heavy box. Be prepared when you open it that it will spring open very quickly! Ok so I got this mattress to go on an old bed frame and I was afraid it wouldn’t work but it’s the perfect height and looks great. It’s comfortable too and great for the guest bedroom. Overall very pleased.. Amber. Owens Cross Roads, AL. Mon Jul 20 2026

I researched many mattresses before deciding on this one. It's for my guest room and won't get daily use, but I still wanted a good quality mattress, which this seems to be! The only issue I had was that even after four days of letting the mattress expand (much longer than what was recommended), the 14" mattress never made it above 12.5". Wayfair made it right though, and I'm pleased with this mattress.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

This hybrid mattress in a box was super easy to set up as it is being used for my daughter’s bunk bed and it fit perfectly in the bottom bunk. It’s very thick and soft my daughter loves it! You can see the top memory foam part, also what I love is that it is fiberglass free which was a big factor in getting this mattress for my little one.
