Bought two of these loft twin beds for our girls who share a room. Overall pleased with the beds. A few of the wood pieces were already damaged/splintered in some places, but it didn’t affect the sturdiness. It seems a little wobbly, but I think if you add extra cross bars to the back and sides for support it will feel more secure. We are very happy with this loft bed. It looks beautiful, feels sturdy, and has really helped maximize the space in my daughter’s room. She now has plenty of room underneath for studying, doing her makeup, and storage. The only issue was the ladder. The steps are narrow and hard on bare feet, and the included pads would roll and didn’t provide enough cushioning. We solved this by adding foam padding around each rung and covering it with soft material. It made a huge difference and the ladder is now much more comfortable to use. This bed took me a long time to assemble because it has so. many. parts. The instructions are fairly straightforward except for the step where you have to figure out on which side you want ladder. Its unclear if the diagram is showing you a right or left setup and the call-out telling you how to position one of the legs to make it right or left is confusing. Otherwise its good quality and *seems* sturdy. I like that the ladder rungs have some ridges on them so your feet wont slide, and that the sides are tall enough for a 8 inch mattress. We got 2 of these for our boys who share a room. It took us about 3-4 hours to get both set up. The second one was much quicker obviously. Over all we like them. took me 4 hrs to assemble. good quality but the slats at the top feels thin I’m worried it might broke. i haven’t put the mattress yet so we’ll see i also feel like its missing another wood for the bottom part which should hold the 2 poles on the right side. overall it looks very nice and i got it on sale so im happy with it..
