After considering numerous guest bed options, happy that I chose this Twin XL daybed with trundle. It did take several hours to put together, but i studied instructions carefully, took my time, and had assistance from a helper when needed. The metal frame is sturdy and attractive. A 10” XL Twin mattress is on the way for the top. “Test” sleeping on the raised trundle with a new 8” gel memory foam mattress from Wayfair was very comfortable, better than I expected, and no noticeable squeaking. With a thick mattress pad to give a little “fluff” to the “firm” mattress, it still slides easily under the main frame. The trundle has two screws that fit into slots on the main frame to create a “King” for two adult guests. I hope to minimize the 2” difference in mattresses with different thickness of mattress pads. Set aside 5 hours to build this thing. Even using power tools it took me quite some time to build. Not a fan of the drawers attaching with just a hole. I have not been able to get the bluetooth to show up on any phone to pair. My son really wants to use the app to control the LED light strip. Maybe it's defective? Edit/Update for anyone else having this issue: The instructions tell you to pair with a bluetooth "Triones" and to install happy lighting. Even provides the qr code in the book to install this app. It seems that this vendor maybe changed their light strips to a different brand. If you scan the QR code on the white box or power supply, it directs you to install "LotusLamp X" this app works perfectly with the LED lights! Changing from 3 stars to 4!. Joe. San Jose, CA.
