The twin comforter looks as pictured. It comes compressed with directions as to how to fluff it back in shape in the dryer but still had areas where the creases have not come out. It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it.
