This is a great bed. For the price we are really happy with it! We’re using it for our grandchildren. However, one thing you do need to know is a standard mattress doesn’t fit correctly. There’s about 3 to 4 inches on the top and the bottom that if a child was standing on the bed, their foot can go right down through. We are going to remedy it with some foam and some wood support. However, just beware of this issue. Other than that and the fact that the frame is too big for a standard twin mattress and too small for a twin XL. It’s a really great sturdy bed.. Patricia. The bed is quite cute. The number of pieces was a little overwhelming, but once I got started with the assembly, it became much easier. There are not very many slats that came with the bed so I’m not sure how it’s going to hold up. And unfortunately, the very last piece that I put on the bed was damaged. The shipment box was quite beaten up. Other than that, the quality of the bed itself seems nice and looks really cute.. Tamby. Bloomington, IN. Thu Feb 19 2026
