This entertainment center actually looks very nice. My daughter opted not to put the doors on because she wanted her books to be displayed and said the wood on the doors didnt match the vibe of her apartment. The table took about 10 days to deliver and the packaging wasn't as protective as the other piece of furniture that I bought in the same order (which came in about three days after ordering). As a result, there was some damage on one end of the oval table top and table bottom where the package was probably dropped hard during transport. The table was easy to assemble alone. The finish appears to be a paper laminate, not as hardy as some other laminates. But for the price point, I think the finish is as expected. I put my own piece of marble on top that was from an old coffee table that has lost it's base, so the cheaper laminate isn't as obvious. The tambour doors work well and look good. The back side of the coffee table looks a bit raw though. I think a faux panel matching the drawer front would look sharp. Fortunately, that side is not easily viewed in my living room.. Jill.
