It's particle board construct - less durable in a long run. 2. Lazy Quality Assurance. Some of the packets aren't even labeled and you have to guess. If I had to be nit picky…the stickers to cover up the screw holes don’t match. They are more cream than white. And the two larger holes for cords (I assume) don’t have anything to cover them up.. Overall it’s pretty good. Kind of pricey for the cheap materials but it does give a “grand look” when done. Took about 3 days to build everything. Pay extra attention to the instructions and orientation of the pieces which are sometimes hard to see in the pictures. **Ours in the final photo is still under construction..it needs to be leveled on each side. We also moved the top section close to the ceiling because we are going to build around it and make it into one full wall unit. I did most of it myself until the big pieces needed to be rolled over or stood up and when it came time to put the doors on. I was a little disappointed that one of the 4 units that came in looked like it was damaged and repaired but thankfully customer service offered a solution. Also about 4 of the door handle bolts were too small and wouldn't work. The shipping boxes were a little beat up but the packaging was good inside and it all survived getting to us. This was a great purchase. It replaces a smaller fireplace tv stand I had. I am very pleased with how it looks. Assembly took a while, as I did it all myself. But the instructions are detailed and clear. Just know that if you put this together, don't plan on moving for a while. Haha. This won't be easy to just disassemble. One other thing is that I had to order different wall anchors, because mine does not sit flush against the wall due to some of my cord placements behind it.
