We put this light up today. It took over 2 hours, as the instructions aren’t really instructions, but the thing that helped the most was the little video included with the photos on the product page. The hardest part was getting it to tie into the existing ceiling box. That said, now that it’s installed, it’s very nice.It casts a beautiful light on the room and pulls the dining area together. We don’t think it’s worth the original cost of a thousand dollars and we’re glad we got it at such a good price.. These are lovely lights. I purchased 3 to hang from a high cathedral ceiling. The fabric has a very soft pattern that I believe helps to diffuse the light. Although the fabric appears a bright white, and depending on the bulbs you pick, when they are on, it is soft and muted. We put ours on a dimmer, and they can be bright or a really soft accent. At night, stunning. These are very elegant and I feel they can be used in any setting from mid century, to traditional. In my case, it is transitional. These are semi flush mount, and I needed them to hang about 3 feet lower, so we were able to find matching brass rods and the connectors and it looks wonderful. Great value. All 3 arrived well packaged and no damage.. Charisse. Scottsville, VA. Sun Jul 19 2026
