It adopts traditional handcraft techniques, covering processes such as material selection, washing, clay refining, throwing, and trimming. For decoration, techniques including paper-cut appliqué, leaf appliqué, and underglaze painting are employed. Glazing methods involve dipping, blowing, and sprinkling, and finally, the products are fired in a dragon kiln. Firing at a high temperature of 1280℃-1300℃ in the dragon kiln makes the porcelain dense and the glaze surface produce a unique kiln transformation effect.
Product Features
Unique Decoration: It features distinctive decorative patterns such as leaf patterns, paper-cut appliqués, hare's fur patterns, and tortoiseshell patterns. For example, the "Leaf Tianmu Cup" uses real leaves mixed into the glaze; after high-temperature firing, clear leaf veins are left on the black glaze, forming natural artistic patterns.
Beauty of Kiln Transformation: During the firing process, the glaze color changes unpredictably, presenting spots. The white glaze forms irregular lines after being manually tapped, and the peeling of the white glaze is a characteristic craft—each work possesses uniqueness.
Primitive and Simple Shape: The vessel shape is simple and magnificent with smooth and natural lines, suitable for various flower arrangement styles such as with withered branches, dried flowers, and hydroponic plants.
