It includes 3 stakes to secure it to the ground. Depending on the space you're putting it in, it may not feel super secure. Have had a few windier days, and it's held up nicely. The birdbath is beautiful! However, it is very light weight. I had to fill it with water and use grounding stakes to hold it down…just happened to be a very windy day when I received it.
