This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. I encountered no problems whatsoever during assembly. The pieces fit perfectly together, and were flush and square. This is a recent purchase, but so far I am very pleased with the bed. It seems to be very solid for the price we paid & it supports our large mattress very well so that when my much larger husband moves, there is very little disturbance on my side of the bed. These storage collection case pieces feature chamfered edge drawer fronts and brushed chrome knobs. The storage feature four footboard drawers, two drop down doors on each side, and four drawers in the headboard. This collection crafted from tropical hardwood and Asian veneers. Leatherette upholstered headboard. Case pieces feature chambered trim, chambered drawer fronts, and brushed chrome knobs.
