Lovely soft 100% leather, not "leather match", on a comfortable chair with a seat width more generous than most. My only disappointment is that there is no matching ottoman. You can find something similar in color ( no guarantee), but the legs will not coordinate. A shame. So have a seat (only).. Vickie. Mauldin, SC. Tue Jun 23 2026

There is a certain cinema to coming home to the Akansha Sophisticated chair: low light, the leather cool for a moment before it warms to you, the day finally exhaling. Furniture like this doesn't just furnish a room, it changes how you feel in it. What makes this leather special? Every inch of this chair is finished in 100% top grain leather, with no splits or bonded material anywhere on the piece. A semi-aniline finish gives it a soft, natural hand and a light wax layer that enhances the leather's character the longer you own it. We select only premium-grade leather cuts, so the texture stays even and refined across the whole piece. How is this piece constructed? Every Akansha Sophisticated chair is built by hand in Mexico, piece by piece, with cutting on your specific leather only starting after you order. The frame is solid wood, hand-crafted rather than mass-produced, and expert joinery paired with a webbing support system gives it the structural integrity to hold up to real daily life. What makes the cushions comfortable and supportive? Softness up top, support underneath: the back cushions use a foam and feather blend, while the seat cushions combine pocket coils, foam, and feather for durable comfort. A sinuous coil system beneath the seat cushions adds resilience, keeping this chair from ever feeling worn-out or flat. How should I care for it, and how will it age? This chair asks very little in terms of upkeep, regular dusting and the occasional dry-cloth wipe will keep it looking great. What it will do on its own is age beautifully: the leather develops a natural patina over time that adds depth and character rather than wear. It's built, and finished, to be part of your home for the long run.

This armchair showcases a tailored silhouette with rolled arms for a classic look in your space. It's crafted with a solid wood frame, providing a sturdy foundation that works well in your living room or main bedroom. The genuine top grain leather upholstery adds a refined texture that feels smooth to the touch, while foam filling in the seat and back provides supportive comfort. The exposed wood legs feature a brown finish that complements the traditional design. Plus, the cushioned back creates an enclosed feel for a relaxed seating experience. Please note all seating areas that you come into contact with are constructed from 100% top-grain genuine leather. The outside back and armrests (non-contact areas) are finished with matching PU.
