I waited awhile few weeks to write this review. First I loved the look of the navy blue chairs. They were very well packaged. Nothing damaged. Assembly was a breeze. The back cushion is oh so plump and lets you sink in a little bit. Not too much. Perfect amount. The seat cushion is not as plush. I’m hoping it gets a bit less firm over time. It’s by no means hard. You sink in, but I wish it felt more like the back cushion. That would have been so much better. The cushions are zippered so I may add more filling later. The fabric is great, feels like it will last awhile. It’s not thin, it’s thick. Like a denim feel. As you can see the back of the chair is angled, it’s like a permanent reclining position with very deep seating. And that’s why I ordered it. But it’s not the best sitting position unless you have an ottoman. I’m trying to find the ottoman that they used to sell with this chair, but until then I’m adding a pillow behind my head to support my neck and keep it more upright. Otherwise it’s just not as comfortable as I feel it should be. It will be better after I add the ottoman. Overall it’s a great sturdy chair. My chair arrived intact and on day expected. The FedEx driver was putting it on the carport which was great due to expect. I asked if he could take to my feet family room door just about 15-20 ft from where he was leaving it and he did, earning him a tip. The chair had no damage and I noted that the dust cover at bottom of the chair was actually cloth instead of the paper like stuff that’s often used. I’m 79 yo and moved the box into the house, removed and inspected everything by myself. I attempted to attach the wings to the back but was unable to get the brackets to slide into each other so had to wait for help. Once that was done the rest was easy. I love the color and like many have said in reviews the seat is hard. I expect it will soften up with uses. The fabric is nice and I expect to get many years of use from this chair. Well, I must be excited about these new chairs because I'm re-writing my review since I shifted to a text after finishing the first attempt, and when I returned to the site, my words were gone. We have purchased a bunch if items from Wayfair over the years, but these two chairs are the best acquisition we've ever made from your great on-line store. The pair are very attractive, sturdy and comfortable chairs. Real wood framework no less. My wife chose them because they are the last accessories we are adding to our newly redecorated living room. She is a certified decorator, which means that she comes up with the ideas, and I do the slave labor. She chose an English Farmhouse theme, and the wallvinyl on 3 walls is a blue floral design with an off-white background. Our accent wall is shiplap wallpaper, and these chairs carry the look to that background. The chairs are relatively easy to assemble, but I will suggest that you cut one of the long-side shanks from the provided Allen wrenches and tighten it in the chuck of your portable drill-driver if you own one. Set the drive strength to a few points below full-drive, and your task of tightening the numerous hex bolts will be much easier than using the manual Allen wrench alone.
