The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

This is a great bed!!! Beautiful, quality material and I can tell it’s very durable. I can’t wait for guests to come and try it out. Very easy to put together.. Linda. Estero, FL. Wed Oct 07 2026

These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026

This twin daybed with a trundle brings a versatile sleeping solution to your guest room or home office. The frame is made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, featuring a clean-lined silhouette wrapped in polyester upholstery with a linen-like texture. We love how the integrated trundle unit rolls out on convenient casters to provide extra sleeping space for overnight guests and then tucks away to save floor space. This daybed also includes a system of slats that support your mattresses without the need for a bulky box spring.

Building this daybed with trundle lasted a few hours. Kids kept interrupting but like another review mentioned, the slats aren’t marked so it was too late to make corrections after screwing them to the boards. Other than no markings, it went well with just me putting it together, unlike the suggested 2 people. Therefore, 4 stars. One star off for no markings on the tools, screws, and slats.. Marcy. Love this daybed! The velvet is so soft & plush. We got an 8 inch mattress & it just covers the gap in the back but it is a nice height for our backs. We placed it in the living room of our 1 bedroom condo in case we have guests. It’s so comfy to sit on & watch TV. The trundle is a great feature. One person was sent to professionally assemble it & they were able to put it together without much trouble.. Diane. Joshua Tree, CA. Thu May 21 2026

Overall the bed is sturdy but it is VERY difficult to pull out the bed into a king especially on carpet. It seems like there should be rollers or something to help with this. The carpet we have is not very plush and it takes a lot of wiggling and pulling to transition to a king. Luckily we don’t have to do so often but when we do it is hard to do with just one person. Doable but very challenging.. Ashley. Williamsburg, MI. Mon Oct 19 2026
