DO NOT BUY!!!!! I am extremely disappointed with this daybed. It was professionally assembled on August 27, and the odor is absolutely horrific. Even after airing out the room with the windows open for more than 24 hours, the smell remains overwhelming and is permeating beneath the closed door into my hallway and other rooms. The room is currently unusable. As a long-standing Wayfair customer, I have never experienced anything like this. Returning it would also be a tremendous hassle because I paid for professional assembly and would now need it disassembled and package item. I truly regret this purchase. I got the green daybed. The colors were true emerald which is lovely next to house plants. The bed feels sturdy but my only issue was the lack of a central support beam. So I just built one from some planks of wood. All in all, I am very pleased with this piece of furniture and I get to enjoy it as a couch and just sit on it getting some sunlight while reading. I love this bed! I put it together myself, so it went a little bit slower, but it is completely manageable. The drawers roll under the bed- each wheel has space for 4 screws, but the drawer frame only had 2 pre-drilled for each wheel; they still work just fine! Color and design are exactly as I expected. We just got it and put it together today. Wasn’t difficult at all. It’s much more sturdy than the previous daybed we had. For those that are missing the legs, they’re inside the ends of the bed behind Velcro fabric. We thought we were missing them too. My daughter loves the color (charcoal gray). I love that the slats on the trundle have caps and are secured in the base. Doggo sleeps on it and broke the slats on the last one because they weren’t secure and moved around. Overall, it’s a cute daybed, but there are a few issues. First, the color is inconsistent. The front and sides of the bed are the same color, but the back is noticeably different, so the colors don’t match properly. Second, the backrest does not feel sturdy or well designed. When you sit on the bed and lean your back against it, there is a gap between the backrest and the wall. Because there is no support behind it, it feels like the backrest could crack or break in the middle if you lean against it. We had to shove the pillow in there to fill in the gap.This makes the design feel impractical and poorly constructed. The daybed has beautiful upholstery. It was easy to assemble with 2 people. I got a 14 inch twin mattress from Wayfair that fits perfectly with the Hurain upholstered daybed frame.
