My husband and I upgraded to this mattress from our 10 year old Tuft and Needle original. I am an all over sleeper, but mainly like to sleep on my stomach. For me this mattress was not love at first sight. We let it expand for 24 hours before sleeping on it the first night. I found it to be too soft initially for stomach sleeping and woke up often with back and neck pain. My husband, on the other hand, loved the mattress as soon as he laid down. I did some research and read to give the mattress 2 weeks before making my final jurisdiction. After about 7 days, I LOVED this mattress. It firmed up, but is still soft enough that I sleep comfortably. I can sleep comfortably on my stomach and back without waking up with back and neck pain. Your average cheap mattress, definitely much less supportive and not as firm as your typical firm mattress, but as to be expected for the price. Doesn’t fluff up evenly or as nicely as you’d think if you’ve ever bought a quality bagged mattress you know what I mean. Our old guest room mattress had started sinking in the middle, so we finally replaced it before family came to stay for a few days. My husband moves around a lot while sleeping, and I could still feel less movement transfer than expected. The edges also feel more stable when sitting down to put on shoes or fold laundry. I have a unique setup where I have 2 queen beds together because I sleep with my 2 great danes and 1 great pyrenees. I needed to be sure this bed was supportive, with some bounce , because straight memory foam doens't hold up to the amount of weight that could be on the bed. THIS IS AMAZING. First the coils are stiff with tons of support. Exactly what I need! It's an honest 12" high which is important since I have a 12" mattress next to it and it was off in measurements, it would be uncomfortable. But most importantly its extremely comfortable.
