The bed is great! The only thing that was frustrating was that it was advertised as the lowest price and had a 24 hour window to get the offer so I took it. I found out two days later that the Bed went on sale for a lower price and when I contacted customer service, they were unwilling to match that price or even let me return the bed and get my money back and then order the Bed at the lower price. Attention to details is necessary for assembly there are very few words in the pamphlet so the pictures are your path. The delivery however did require two ppl to lift. This bed has plenty of storage space. There are plenty of shelves to provide plenty of space for your favorite books and items. Three large drawers provide additional storage space for clothing, bedding, and other essentials. Trundle gives you extra space to sleep.

Very easy to put together. All the pieces were included and the hardware was separated and labeled by number (made putting it together a breeze). Might taken an hour or so to do. Bed is very sturdy. After considering numerous guest bed options, happy that I chose this Twin XL daybed with trundle. It did take several hours to put together, but i studied instructions carefully, took my time, and had assistance from a helper when needed. The metal frame is sturdy and attractive. A 10” XL Twin mattress is on the way for the top. “Test” sleeping on the raised trundle with a new 8” gel memory foam mattress from Wayfair was very comfortable, better than I expected, and no noticeable squeaking. With a thick mattress pad to give a little “fluff” to the “firm” mattress, it still slides easily under the main frame. The trundle has two screws that fit into slots on the main frame to create a “King” for two adult guests. I hope to minimize the 2” difference in mattresses with different thickness of mattress pads. It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. I read reviews and was pretty intimidated when I started building, but everything went well. I had all of the correct parts, and I found the directions clear.
