Looks just like it did in the pictures. I was worried it might appear too rustic for our living room but it does not. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas. I have been using this crate for a while now. I absolutely love it! I use it for my giant breed rabbits as it allows them to have plenty of space to move around and stretch out.
