Waterproof but not windproof. Although all 4 legs are secured, when the wind blows, it becomes parachute-like in appearance, and if it is raining, water collects underneath and the cushions get wet.. Pw. Los Angeles, CA. Thu Aug 13 2026

These ergonomic and well-made chaise lounge chairs combine durability, style and versatility and are undoubtedly ideal for outdoor spaces. Featuring a premium powder-coated aluminum frame, these chaise lounges are rust-resistant and strong enough to support up to 350 lbs. Plus, the seat and backrest are made from Phifertex sling fabrics. Phifertex sling fabrics are woven from durable, resilient PVC-coated polyester yarns. This material is extremely strong and flexible but has very little stretch, meaning it won’t sag or tear under pressure. Its PVC vinyl-coating also means that the fabric performs beautifully in all kinds of weather, is water resistant, and can also withstand UV rays. In particular, the armrests are specially decorated with teak wood, adding a touch of elegance to the design.

Initial impression is very positive. Easy to assemble, Love the wheels. Wood arms are a nice touch that elevates the look. Quality appears to be very good. Update: After loving these covers, I repurchased….and I was sent a completely different covers - ones that were SO cheap and thin, made of completely different fabric and also smaller in size and won’t fit my chaises. Thinking that this may be a mistake, I returned and reordered and I was sent the wrong ones again. Absolutely frustrating! So just be aware that if you buy these, you will likely not get what is pictured in the listing and in my initial review photos. It’s obviously a completely different product now and yet they are still showing the old covers in the listing photos. Original review: I bought 2 covers for our DIY chaise loungers. The covers are very well made with a durable canvas material that is weatherproof by a rubberized coating for the lining. We had a very heavy rain the first night I tried them out and I was so nervous that it would not keep the cushions dry, but they were not the least bit wet the next morning! I was very impressed..
