This product is crafted from Tulip Poplar and comes unfinished and chemical-free. Most of our customers choose to leave the wood unfinished, but we do provide finishing instructions for staining or painting.

I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. This option made it so I could still use my mattress. This is a full size mattress and fits its perfectly. I love that it has 3 different options of being a couch, lounger and a bed. This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. I bought it soecifi to slide u set the bed and pull out for when my daughter had sleep overs so her friends can sleep on it and it works perfect for that. I recently had to use it to when we had family stay in town. I like that it fits my fitted sheets and it’s pretty comfortable to sleep. My daughter likes that she can use it as a couch in her room. So easy to put together even by yourself--only need to attach the arm rests and legs. No tools needed as.the screws and hex key are provided. The hardest part was taking it out of the box (or in my case, ripping the box away from the couch). As a couch, it feels great if you like stiffer support, like I do. If youre looking for a cloud to sit on, this aint it. Similarly the bed portion is kinda of stiff for sleeping but its easily solved by a mattress topper. Its super easy to fold and unfold, but mine didnt come with directions, so here are some tips. To flatten it to a bed, unfold the seat to flat first. Then unzip the pockets in the back of the backrest and unbend the legs for the backrest. After, gently pull the backrest forward first (like the backseat of your car when youre trying to get to your trunk from the inside of your car) and then push it all the way back to the floor. If you want to recline, you have to pull it up to the desired angle from the flat position. Note, the back has a huge exposed zipper (see pic) so if you dont put it against a wall, youll probably want a throw blanket or something else to hide it. Fair warning, it seems smaller than a twin in terms of width so larger guests and guests who roll in their sleep may feel uncomfortable with the width. This is a really great sleeper chair or mattress! I have family members who visit and bring their yound kids, and it's perfect for putting on the floor so the kids can stay in the room with their parents. It sits pretty low to the ground but can be folded several ways to make it into a loveseat, sleeper chair, sofa bed or put on a futon as the mattress. It's very soft and comfortable to lay on so would be great to use even if you wanted to bring it to sleep on when you go camping! The folding camping cot looks like is made with quality materials and strong enough for heavy people. I love the convenience design to open and close it easily. I can’t say if it will be durable because it is new and I didn’t use it yet. The only negative thing is that the packaging was terrible, the box came broken. I just got this and put it together so I can’t speak on durability yet but it arrived undamaged and is exactly what I was looking for. It’s pretty easy to use and feels sturdy. I got the cherry finish and it perfectly matches my other furniture in the room. As others mentioned the directions and labels aren’t completely accuratethe easiest but I just checked the set up video online whenever I got a little hung up.
