I was very surprised how well this went together, everything was fairly easy and smooth until I got to installing the door hinges. I figured it out though and it looks great. I really like the fire feature, I was afraid it would look fake and tacky but it doesn’t at all. I really like this tv stand! It was not super hard to put tougher, just takes some time! Instructions are clear, thank you Wayfair! It’s very pretty and looks so nice in my living room! My only complaint is that the wood scratches easily. If i could change one thing, it would be that it had some sort of protective finish on it to keep it from scratching so easily. Also, the very back panels were slightly warped, but you can’t see them, and it’s not a huge deal. Everything still fit together pretty well on the back. First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. Fantastic value for the money. Love that the fireplace is visible from three sides. Piece is solid and sturdy, took myself and another person about four hours to build ourselves. That was using a drill with Allen wrench bits. Another review said that the strip lighting was a little cheesy and they didn’t bother with it. I agree that it is a bit cheesy and I won’t be using a color, but I did install them just for the warm regular light and I’m glad that I did.
