We love this buffet. We had bought a black one and a white one. The directions are 95 excellent, there were a few challenges, but overall, it wasn’t difficult to put together. The 5 that we caution people on is step 16 and 17 regarding the second phase of putting the drawer slides in. These steps were difficult to understand. You have to bring the pieces to the work area to figure it out. We both were working on a piece at the same time and came across the exact same issue. We enjoy putting items together like this and saving money, but this one took so long, about six hours, (there are 37 steps for assembly) that we agreed it would’ve been better to have Wayfair do it. for the hundred bucks a piece.. We love the way this looks in our living room! Hopefully it will hold up over time, it of course is not real wood. The drawers and doors all work after assembly. Assembly is the biggest issue with this. Things lined up well and if you follow instructions it should all fit together fine. I'm someone who is good at following instructions, have my own tools, and am used to focusing on tedious projects......this took me 3.5 hours to assemble. Fantastic table! I bought the navy. Very easy to assemble. It took around 20 minutes but I would recommend having someone else to help you since it is a big table. All the pieces arrived in good shape. There was only one slight ding, but it was on the underside of the table where you can’t see. I knew this when I ordered the table, but the only thing I wish it had was drawer glides to open and close the drawers. The drawers are kind of free floating in the openings which causes a slight scraping noise when you open and close them. I’m sure if it had those, the table would be a lot more expensive. I gave this 4 stars for instructions / assembly reasons, the instructions are a bit wonky in places and slightly unclear, but mainly I took a star off for the "permanent" warning sticker they put on the upper side of the cabinet, which was very annoying and while I did get it removed fully, the extra time and frustration of removing it really irked me. OTHERWISE, I really like this cabinet. It is very pretty, I am using it as a sofa/console table that serves as a room break and extra storage in a ver small house. This is a very nice cabinet. Drawers and doors work perfectly. Fairly easy to assemble. I selected it to use in my sewing room. I put threads, pins, etc. in the drawer and batting in the bottom shelves with the doors keeping everything neat. The only problem I had with assembly was one of the small drawer knobs would not allow the screw to go in very far. I put some washers in to hold it tight and that worked.
