I was very surprised how well this went together, everything was fairly easy and smooth until I got to installing the door hinges. I figured it out though and it looks great. I really like the fire feature, I was afraid it would look fake and tacky but it doesn’t at all. First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. So I bought two 11X14 picture frames, cheap at the dollar store, and used just the glass and the frame as shelves. They fit perfectly. I then used one of the wood shelves as a base for my subwoofer. I was looking at a $1600 fireplace. I seen this one for less than $400 and took a gamble and ordered it. I just knew I was going to be disappointed, have to return it.. To my surprise its very nice. It took about an hour to assemble. I am confused about the led lights in the back because there's no instructions for them, I just left them rolled up. I put white stone in there, caulked the seems. When we received the console and was putting it together we noticed one of the doors was broken, so we decided not to send it back or put the doors on it. It was really easy to put together and the instructions were very easy to follow. We were in a time restraint to get our rental home ready for tenants The console itself is nice, but way too short for the space I didn’t know it was as short as it was.
