I’m impressed with this frame. I expected it to be kind of cheap and flimsy but it’s actually very sturdy and well made. The head and footboard are a nice neutral color. I really appreciate how it has cross supports going across the short and long edge of the bed. The one thing I don’t like is it doesn’t really have a lip to hold the mattress in place so there’s potential for it to slide around. The package is a tall box. If it needs to be transported to upper level or lower level must have help to do so. I just opened the package and took each piece to upper level. The packaging was great. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place.
