This is the most beautiful stunning carpet that I have ever purchased. The colors of blue and black make the room look beautiful! There is one spot on the carpet that is a huge white spot. I thought it was a defect but it actually is part of the 'design' as shown in the photo. I personally didn't like it so I turned the rug so that the end with the spot is in an unseen spot. Other than that, the carpet arrived undamaged and rolled out without any ripples. The carpet is well made and plush. I had to tape down two corners for a few days to flatten the ends and then it laid down perfectly. NO ODORS whatsoever which is also a plus!! Do not hesitate to purchase this beauty!! We've had this runner on steps + hallway in our multi-level house for a couple of years now. We like it so much we're going to buy the same one for a hallway on a different level. It is mostly tan/brown but has a grey overlay in places as well. So it looks great with both beiges and greys. It has the elegance of a border rug but the middle is mottled, so it doesn't show the scuffs and spills as does a traditional border rug with a solid coloured middle. The rug arrived very quickly and as represented in the vibrant burgundy/red, gold and navy blue. It looks great in our living room and matches the floor and my burgundy chair. There is a slight chemical smell that has started to fade after day one. I’m rating 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the creases due to shipment in a box. This rug is really lovely. I got the 5' x7'6" size. I was so pleased with the quality and the fact that the colors were very true to the pictures. Creams, dark greens, light greens, even a slight amount of seafoam blue/green but to be sure, it's predominately green. The darkest shade would pick up browns or dark greys or even black if those shades are in your space and you want to match well. Regardless, I liked it and the price so much that I bought two. That little old lady (dog) in the photo is 18 and sometimes can't make it to her doggy door fast enough. Accidents. Speaking of which, she did nail the edge of the rug once already and I used my electric carpet cleaner on the spot. Colors and rug held up just fine after the cleaning.
