Great stand…you can only mount the tv one way though and for us that meant the doors would open toward the bed as we put this at the end of our bed. I'm a 67 yr. old petite woman and I just finished assembling this cabinet by myself, using only a screwdriver and it took me about 3 hours. It's very well made, instructions are easy to follow, but I did see the complaints about the difficulty with the doors, but I did not have a problem with the doors. Be aware that if your TV is 55" like in the photo, once you position it on the cabinet the TV legs will hang off either the front or back of the cabinet. Looks amazing and the quality is good. The only reason why I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because of the instruction quality when putting the sliding doors on. It was not very clear that you have to use the wax stick first and as a result part of the back wood broke off slightly. This is exactly what we were looking for. I was looking for a cabinet that was a bit taller and with some storage space. The doors have slats so you can see some of whats stored there. If that would bother you then this isnt for you. However i imagine you could use a remote without opening the doors. I was able to fit dvds, games ans a dvd player in there.
