I got this bean bag chair for a bedroom and it's going to be perfect in there. It's really well-built, and contrary to an old-school bean bag, this one has a good amount of support. There are springs inside which make it more solid. It's also soft though, and very comfortable. The fabric is corduroy but is velvety soft. The cup holders are an added plus. Love this chair! I got it for my son’s room and it is amazing. My 6 year old sometimes sleeps on it when I let him because it is so big and comfy. A good value for the price! A bit larger than I expected, but that's not necessarily a bad thing so long as your space can accommodate it. I can share with my young daughter. My only slight criticism is that it is a bit more reclined than in the picture (back is not as upright) but sometimes I prop it up on a large sofa cushion if I need to sit more upright (such as using for a video game chair)..
