Im planning to use this for my new chicken run so Im not attaching the dog bowls but the door swing around great and lock in place. The whole structure is very sturdy. Assembly was super easy. We love this dog house. We have a 110 pound German shepherd who prefers being outside. I never grew up with an outdoor dog so I was extremely hesitant to move him full time to our backyard, but this dog house made it an easier choice. He’s super happy and so are we. This is my second chicken coop from Wayfair. Unlike the first one, the instructions on putting this coop together were excellent but the instructions for installing the mesh were lacking. (Unclear on how to wrap the coopdoor section). I had to buy a lot of extra zip ties. The stake hole location could be improved. Sometimes the stake holes are blocked from the coop frame. Excellent duck coop. Easy to set up with my grand childrens assistance. I added more layers of poultry wire and hardware cloth to the sides and top make break-ins more difficult.
