This foam ball pit is soft, well-made, and creates a fun play space for little ones. Setup was very easy, and I was pleasantly surprised that there was no strong chemical or foam odor when I first opened it. The cover is soft, and the foam provides good cushioning for play. One thing I wish I had done differently is order the smaller size. This version is much bigger than I expected and takes up a significant amount of space. While the high sides help keep balls contained, parents should be aware that toddlers and younger children can easily bump into or get hurt on the higher edges during active play if they aren't supervised. Another thing worth mentioning is that while the foam didn't have any odor out of the package, it seems to absorb surrounding smells depending on where it's stored. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's something I've noticed over time. Overall, it's a quality ball pit that my child enjoys, and I appreciate how soft and comfortable it is.
