Oh Wow I am happy with this chest! exactly what I needed for my dolls room. I have little space for a normal wide trunk, then I found this PURE BEAUTY! inside an out. Lined in white, will close by itself, slowly, incredible craftmanship and great color. Great chest for what I needed. It's attractive and I chose the stained brown which matches my other bedroom furniture. It's a nice size and for me held about 3 quilts, one blanket, and a couple of shams if you roll or fold right. Pretty roomy for the size regardless but fairly compact for smaller spaces. Easy to put together. The hinge is nice because it holds the lid open and prevents it from slamming down. Sturdy construction and parts do not feel cheap so for the price this is very good. I ordered this toy box in the green color. It’s more of a sage green, and not as vibrant as the green advertised. In some lighting, it even looks gray. At first, I thought I had been sent the wrong color. Customer service was very responsive and helpful, and sent another to correct the color issue, however the new box is the exact same color. The box was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. It holds a decent amount of toys for the size! It had a weird, slightly unpleasant smell for the first week or so but it seems to have disappeared!.
