But there were a couple of issues I found there was a dent on the base as though somebody had dropped something pointed on it, and the wood had some imperfections. I really like this floor lamp and it was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were not very detailed so I had to wing it on some of the steps. I am disappointed that the remote control did not work, but customer service was very accommodating and assisted me. I will keep the lamp. It is a slim tall lamp so it is perfect for small spaces..
