This cat carrier is so high quality and the craftsmanship is fantastic. I honestly am surprised it is this well made. The only thing I could recommend for the company is to make the side stiffer in some way to prevent the small bit of sagging while it’s standing up. (see photo). This is an OK carrier. I ordered it to give to a neighbor, and I had to tell her that I would recommend always carrying it from the bottom, unless she was carrying only a kitten or lightweight cat. I might be wrong, but the carry handle is on the metal gate that opens at the top, and that gate is only attached on one side by two lightweight plastic tabs. And the wire in the gates is a smaller guage than I've seen used in a carrier before. I just don't think they would hold up for repeated use by a heavy cat... Again, I could be wrong. Other than that, it's a good carrier. It was simple to put together, and it came with a water/food bowl attachment, and a grate that sits at the bottom. Both of those aren't always included with a carrier. It has plastic lock fittings instead of the heavy-duty steel wire that I've always had on my carriers, but they look like they'll holdup. I like that it has two ways to join the top & bottom. You can use the bolts if you have room to store it whole, or you can use the four clamps on the sides, and it will be fast & easy to break it down to half-size for storage. This made traveling with my pet so easy. My dog is 20lbs and it’s difficult to carry the carrier with him in it as it gets too heavy on my shoulders. This is a great carrier -- well made and sturdy, the weather/water proof bottom to the pack is a nice feature for hiking and park days. It fits my 18 lb corgi well!
