We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand. It adds support to any mattress type and will keep the mattress in good shape thus extending the life of your mattress The wooden slats made out of spruce wood are linked to prevent movement during use and they effortlessly extend your mattress's life span and prevent sagging It will give firm bottom support for the mattress These can be avoided with the use of slats. Using slats doubles the mattress's life expectancy. This slat is a good alternative in lieu of a box spring that may be too high for day beds. It will give the bed a lift without adding much height. These slats are strong enough to be used directly on the bed frame in lieu of a box spring.

Was looking for a basic, attractive platform bed for a new king size mattress we purchased. This fit the bill perfectly. Pretty straightforward to assemble, though I did use my cordless driver with a hex bit to speed things up. But the included allen wrench worked fine.
