This chair is exactly as depicted in the description. I was surprised by the weight, and it takes two people to lift. My door frame is rather narrow, so I had to roll it on its side at the perfect angle to get it to fit through the door. The chair swivels smoothly on a metal frame and arrived completely assembled. As for comfort, the cushion is firm, but I do anticipate it will soften over time. The seat depth is good. I am 5’7 and if I sit all the way to the back, I can just barely put my feet flat on the floor. I would say this is a very attractive conversation piece, and certainly comfortable enough for short term guests. I do wish the pattern matched up with the seams on the front. No one has noticed it but me, but for a well-made piece that is the only part that I think is a “miss” here.
