This modular sofa is awesome. It was super easy to open up. It came very compact and inflated almost right away. It does take a full day or so to completely fill in. So don't worry if it looks a bit lopsided at first. The box was a bit heavy so I'd suggest a team lift to place it where it will stay. The pieces are all separate so it's easy to change the lay out. So I took this sofa out of the package just yesterday so not sure if there will be any more expansion or if it’s fully expanded. It’s very soft and comfortable. I love this “bean bag” chair! It’s definitely comfier being made of foam compared to traditional filling. I let it expand for about 24 hours after opening and it seemed to be fully aired out. The instructions do note you can steam out the wrinkles but I didn’t care enough to do that as this chair is just for me and not out in a visible spot of the house. This floor sofa bed lounger is perfect for my son’s room especially when his cousin comes over to spend the night. There’s more than enough space even my little brother who is about 6 feet tall takes naps on there sometimes too. When it’s in a seated position it’s actually held up by an anchor so in order to lay it down you have to pull forward then back.
