But other than that the directions were very clear and they gave you extras of the hardware which is always appreciated. They have a great midcentury look with a low profile -- I think they would look really nice as chairs in front of a desk. The wood is high quality, too. I have to echo what other reviewers said - the chairs take forever to assemble! The manufacturer should have made it so the bolts screwed right in, instead of providing little pieces of hardware that you need to line up with the bolts and the holes. Not all parts line up exactly, so a couple of the chairs wobble, but they are ok once you sit in them. I definitely recommend having two people to assemble them, but I did manage on my own.
