Pretty easy to build. A little disappointing that the description mentions a curtain that is not included. There was a piece at the foot of the bed where the bottom shelf and bed connect that the hole was not drilled out, you could see it was started but we had to drill it out. The windows could be sewn better because they didn’t survive my toddler, within not even 5 minutes after the bed was done being built the windows were broken. Purchased for my 12 year old daughter. It was easy to put together, but took around 3.5 hours with two people. The quality is good, and the instructions were mostly easy to follow. She is very satisfied with the end result. We did find it to be flimsy without a box spring, so we took out the wood pieces and just put the box spring on the floor.
