It is also a normal distance from the ground, making it easy to sit down and to stand up without struggling to do so! The backrest is high enough that you can rest your head against it, but I found that it reclines just a bit too much, requiring that I place a 4 inch thick pillow behind my back for proper upright support! This was very sturdy. Its on the heavier side for handling which is just a trade-off for having a super strong chair. Definitely easier to have two people place it back in the bag. Im able to have my son sit with me in this chair and cuddle so thats quite nice. The only thing I would change and this is why I didnt give five stars is there isnt much padding on the sides.. Sarah.
