Fashion designer Johanna Ortiz was inspired by Gertrude Stein’s famous line “Rose is a rose is a rose” when she imagined this simple stylized palm wallpaper. Based on hand-drawn artwork and printed on our Haruki Sisal, this graphic medium-scale design captures the essential beauty of palm trees and reflects Ortiz’s fascination with this majestic plant. Apply our peel and stick wallpaper to walls, stair risers, furniture, ceilings, bathrooms and more. The product works best when applied to surfaces that have been primed and painted with an eggshell, satin, or semi-gloss finish. Applications on flat and matte paints and textured surfaces are not recommended.

This was my first time installing peel and stick wallpaper. In many ways the pattern was very forgiving. However, the metallic texture was not as kind. This paper does not take well to repositioning.
