It would have been 5 stars but there was a chip on the headboard. I noticed putting the bed together. It's more trouble to return it and it's not too different in color so I'm keeping it. The walnut color of the bed works well with the other wood accents I have in the room and it was easy to put together. Instructions were not very clear and incorrectly labeled. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. They did not specify otherwise but that’s ok we just got some plywood to help. However outside of that it’s 5 stars all around, looks just like the photo, beautiful color, feels well built.
