These chairs serve their purpose beautifully and look great in our den. They aren't the most comfortable right out of the box due to being on the stiffer side, but I expect they'll soften up over time. The stripes don't line up perfectly between chairs, but with a lumbar pillow in each, it's barely noticeable. One chair arrived damaged, but Wayfair made the replacement process incredibly easy. Since we'd already tossed the original box, they simply sent a new chair along with its own box, so we could pack up the damaged one and send it back with no hassle. They even provided a shipping label and scheduled a FedEx pickup within a day or two. What I will say again is to please order the Archetype Hemp fabric sample before you order the arm chair, sofa or ottoman. As the fabric appears much lighter in photos. You may find the photos I have of the sofa to be closer to what the actual color is. Lighting makes a very big difference in the overall look of these furniture pieces. I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time.. Beautiful Chair! I love the feel and size - it is more substantial than most chairs of this design, so check the dimensions. I will say the coloring in the photo is different than in real life. The leather is more brown than gray and the wood is not a natural white oak color- it has a light brown stain and then kind of a whitewash that lays in the grain on the arms/legs. They look good in my space, but I could definitely see a scenario where the color is different enough to be a deal breaker on the chairs. Absolutely love this chair! I got as a reading chair, and it is a classic and timeless look. I am 5’2, and it has a deep enough seat to rest my legs on it. It was also extremely easy to assemble. The only downside was the bottom corners had small smudges on them, I am assuming from shipping. I was able to remove with stain remover so wasn’t a big deal and also again on the bottom so unnoticeable. The chair is on the firmer side but think it will soften over time so I don’t mind it!
