It came with a glue type stain and all the offered was a very low discount and if I wanted a replacement I needed to cover the shipping fee which was not worth it so I have to keep it like that. So far we’ve loved this couch, fur babies included! The biggest issue we had was that the instruction manual was missing when we received the item. I messaged about it and received a reply a few days later but we had already figured out how to put it together. My only complaint outside of that is the cushions do seem the slide out easily. First of all— the color is beautiful! If you’re looking for an earthy green, look no further! I love that it’s truly modular and really versatile for your space. I’m hoping the ottoman comes back in stock to really complete the look for us. It’s fairly easy to put together—however, with the corner pieces I really recommend putting one side piece onto the bottom piece and then putting the other side piece on. It was impossible for us to put both side pieces on and then the bottom piece— it just didn’t align with all 4 slide pieces. Once we did it the other way they were easy to put together. Also, the instructions don’t say how to unhook the alligator connectors once you put them together so we had to Google that— you lift up on the side that has the post to dislodge it from the alligator piece. The couch is firm but still comfy (exactly what we were looking for). The couch is low but again, that’s what I was wanting. I’m 5’6” and I can sit with my feet touching the ground and my back on the couch— if you’re looking for a deeper seat then this might not work. Also, cat approved!
