He added a water repellent seal to help make it more protected from the elements. It's the perfect height (30"), length (48"), and depth (15"), and has a pretty espresso finish. The lower shelf is perfect to add smaller bonsais or a nice wicker storage basket. I loved it so much I bought a second one. They both arrived quickly and were delivered safely, with no damage. Overall a good table. Provides excellent easy to store and grab space behind the couch. Ine of the biggest problem with a long couch is not having enough room to place drinks, your phone, etc. This helps that problem and even helps with charging thanks to the outlets. We havnt installed the outlets yet and that was one of the two problems I have with it. There are 2 outlets and they come separetely so it takes up 2 ports on the wall, where if they had allowed it to be routed to just one outlet it would have been better. I ordered the cream color. What was great: solid and high quality construction, easy assembly, perfect design for my purposes, great delivery. What disappointed: definitely not a cream color. It was hard to capture with my cell phone, but the color is definitely darker than all the pictures online, and it is a decidedly GREEN color, although a very light green. It is also more distressed than the pictures, so it had a tad too much country vibe than I wanted. But, it fits my space and is functioning perfectly to my needs. It is definitely one of the highest quality pieces of furniture I've ever bought online. The drawer hardware is very high quality for an online furniture item. It came halfway assembled, and the drawers were all put together, which is always the hardest part. So I was able to put it together by myself in about 40 minutes. I was replacing a piece that had been in the same spot for 25 years, so finding something that actually fit the space (and had a timeless design) was my top priority. This one checks all the boxes. It’s classic enough to last for years, while still allowing flexibility to update the styling with accessories over time. I also love the two-tier design. It works well styled minimally, but gives the option to add more on the bottom shelf if you want a fuller look. Assembly was quick and easy, about 10 minutes to unbox and another 10 minutes to put together. My only small complaint is that the bumper pads under the glass are visible and come in a light/translucent color. Black would have blended better. I’ll likely swap them out, but it’s a minor detail.
