An empty frame isn't empty! It's full of possibilities to put a twist of personal style on your space. Equal parts rustic and refined, this versatile piece is crafted of manufactured wood and features a dark walnut finish with dramatic distressed detailing. Set it above a weathered leather sofa filled with a photograph of your favorite lakeside retreat, then roll out a dark-toned braided rug and suspend a glowing wrought iron chandelier overhead to tie a lodge-inspired living room look together. If your space is a bit more stately, that's no problem. Let it sit above the dining room mantel to stage a family portrait, a lovely centerpiece for festive feasts and elegant dinner parties alike. This frame is also perfect for gracing your gallery wall, just add a blue-hued watercolor print to complement colorful canvases and other abstract accents.

First things first, the frame does seem to be constructed of wood but the 'wood grain' finish is a veneer. If you're hoping for a raw wood look this may not be the frame you want. That being said, it is a very well-constructed frame and I was so thrilled to get it in a size that's otherwise difficult to find (6"x6"). Acrylic really does have superior clarity when compared to glass - it will scratch much more easily, of course, but so long as the frame isn't in a high-traffic spot that really shouldn't be an issue.. Distressed feel to the wood in a soft charcoal color. The plexiglass is good quality, not thin and easily scratched. BOTH sides are protected by the blue adhesive which peels off easily. Frame was not stained or finished in backside. There was some overlapping stain, but it did not cover all of the frame. To me, this looked shoddy & cheap. I was disappointed to place the artwork I had had rendered in this frame. Only salvation was that the back will face a wall!. Sandra E. Pen Argyl, PA. Thu Oct 12 2023

This frame brought an older family picture back to life. Looking forward to putting it on the wall to display for everyone. I am very impressed with the quality.. Anonymous. Wed Sep 30 2026
